A. GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Technical equipment: All Rooms at the Conference Venue are equipped with a desktop computer or laptop (PC) with audiovisual capacity and connection to the internet. If using your own computer, make sure you bring with you all the relevant adaptors that are necessary for connecting your equipment to the Projector in the room.  Workshop facilitators should bring their own materials to the conference where possible. Poster presenters will receive help with hanging up their poster on their designated day and conference organisers will provide necessary materials for this.
  • Arrive early: Please make sure you have found the room you are presenting and delivered your presentation to the technical staff in the room EARLY and at the latest during the break before your presentation. This is important so that staff will have time to sort out any technical difficulties. Please deliver your poster to the designated space

B. INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESENTERS

  • INDIVIDUAL PRESENTATION: 15 minutes presentation followed by 5 minutes discussion/questions. Please time your presentation carefully as Chairs will strictly adhere to the time allocated.
  • PANEL DISCUSSION: 45 minutes in total, including 15 minutes discussion. Please time individual presentations carefully to allow for discussion time during the 45 minutes.  Please time your panel carefully as Chairs will strictly adhere to the time allocated.
  • ARTS-BASED PRESENTATION: 30 minutes in total, including 5 minutes discussion. Conference Organisers assume that presenters will bring their own materials to the conference if possible. Please arrive EARLY to prepare the room for your presentation. Please time your presentation carefully as Chairs will strictly adhere to the time allocated.
  • WORKSHOP: 45 minutes in total, to include any discussion time. Please arrive early. Conference Organisers assume that workshop facilitators will bring their own materials to the conference if possible.  Please time your workshop carefully as Chairs will strictly adhere to the time allocated.
  • POSTERS: Posters (A1 Size, 594 x 841 mm or 59.4 x 84.1 cm, which is 23.4 x 33.1 inches - Portrait) will be exhibited on specified Wall Spaces within the conference venue for one day during the conference (in accordance with the Conference Programme). Please arrive early on the morning of that day and deliver your poster to the space allocated in the conference programme. 
  • NOTE: The Conference Organisers will assist in hanging up your poster and provide the materials in order to do this.
  • You are encouraged to create an interactive poster and/or include multimedia content. In such a case please note that all additional equipment that may be required will be provided by you.
  • It is useful, for any necessary multimedia materials, to include QR code in your poster. There will be limited technical assistance for extra technical equipment that your poster may require.
