• Paper Presentation: Paper presentations involve one or more co-authors and will take place in two formats:
(A) Research papers
(B) Opinion papers
Each paper presentation will be allocated 20 minutes (15 mins presentation + 5 mins discussion)
• Αrt-based/Performance-based presentations: involve one or more co-authors and will take place in two formats:
A. Research papers, with live art or performance (part)
B. Opinion papers & with live art or performance (part)
Each Art-based/Performance-based paper presentation will be allocated 20 minutes, to include performance/analysis/documentation.
* The part of the performance or artistic action is required to be in live action (and not recorded or in digital format).
• 15 words or fewer for paper title
• 800 words or fewer for abstract (excluding title). References, tables, and figures should be added to the end of the document and are not included in the word count. No more than a total of seven (7) tables and/or figures may be included.
• 15 words or fewer for the title
• 500 words or fewer for overall session summary without any author/participant identification. The summary will be published in the Conference proceedings and must address the following elements:
1. Objectives of the panel discussion
2. Overview of the presentation format
3. Scholarly or scientific significance
4. Structure for the session
• 250 words or fewer for each participant’s paper/presentation summary to be included in the panel discussion without any author/participant identification.
• Conclusions and implications for arts education
• 15 words or fewer for paper title
• 800 words or fewer for extended abstract
• References, tables, and figures should be added to the end of the document in JPG format and are not included in the word count. No more than a total of seven (7) tables and/or figures may be included. Submissions will be removed from consideration if the paper exceeds the word limit or includes author identification.
No. There is no limit for co-authors listed as long as they all contributed to the paper.

You can change the abstract you submitted through the link for review your received with the submission confirmation e-mail and if the submission deadline has not passed.

- All attendees of the WAAE Summit (whether presenting or not) must complete their registration.
- Individuals with accepted submissions who intend to attend the conference must complete their registration by 15 June 2024.
- First authors of submissions MUST attend the conference and MUST complete their registraion by 15 June 2024.
- 2nd, 3rd etc. authors who will not attend the conference will not pay registration fees.
- All participants of an accepted PANEL Discussion submission MUST attend and complete their registration by 15 June 2024.
